Commotion in Oko in Anambra State, as EFCC Raids Student HostelsThere was panic and commotion in the Okoh area after operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly raided several student hostels.
According to eyewitnesses, some EFCC operatives gained access to the hostels last night by climbing through windows using ladders. Military personnel later patrolled the surrounding area this morning, while a police helicopter was seen hovering overhead during the operation.
The reason for the raid and the number of people arrested have not yet been officially confirmed.
