Police Station Near Collapse in Ex-Minister Badaru’s Hometown Amid Rising Banditry

A police station in Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State, the hometown of former Defence Minister Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, is reportedly in a state of serious disrepair, raising concerns among residents as insecurity continues to worsen in parts of the area.

According to reports, the facility is on the verge of collapse, with its deteriorating condition making it difficult for officers to carry out their duties effectively. Residents fear the situation could further weaken security efforts at a time when communities are increasingly worried about the threat of bandit attacks and other criminal activities.

The development has sparked fresh calls for urgent government intervention, with many urging the authorities to rehabilitate the police station and strengthen security infrastructure to better protect lives and property.
