Media personality Daniel Regha has reacted to an old video of Apostle Arome Osayi recounting a powerful spiritual encounter he said he experienced during a trip to Tanzania, where he claimed Jesus Christ appeared to him while he was praying alone on a beach.
In the video, Arome said, “In Tanzania, they put me in a hotel close to a beach, and I just came out of the back and began to walk on the beach, just praying in tongues.” “There were people like this but I couldn’t see them, and I strayed away from the hotel, consumed in the Holy Ghost. And then Jesus came and stood by my side,” he recalled.
Arome said he then asked Jesus for the power to perform extraordinary miracles, including raising the dead and reversing autism.“I said, Won’t you give me the power to raise the dead and the power to reverse autism?” he recounted.
He said Jesus subsequently instructed him to give ₦5 million to a pastor, adding that He would raise a crippled person.“Send five million to this pastor, and I will raise a cripple,” Arome quoted Jesus as saying.He said that during his final night in Tanzania, while Theophilus was ministering, he experienced another spiritual encounter.
“As Theophilus ministered, then the angel just touched me. He touched me here like this,” he said.
According to Arome, the encounter was followed by what he described as an extraordinary manifestation during the service.
“That was the day that the anointing was so strong that I didn’t need to preach. And when I cried, five crippled people started walking,” he said.
