Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has paid a visit to businessman Isaac Fayose, just days after Fayose came under criticism from some Obidient supporters over his meeting with Seyi Tinubu.
During the visit, Obi spoke about the importance of accepting criticism, saying true leaders should always be willing to listen, learn and make corrections whenever necessary.
“Whenever I’m doing something wrong, I want people to tell me so I can correct myself. A leader must always listen and learn,” Obi said.
The visit comes shortly after Fayose disclosed that Obi had personally called to thank him for his support and promised to visit him. Since the meeting became public, it has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians applauding Obi’s humility while others questioned the timing of the visit.
