The Enugu State Government has launched Enugu to the World (ETTW), a new television programme aimed at showcasing the state’s transformation, attracting investment and keeping residents, businesses and the diaspora informed about the opportunities emerging across Enugu.
The weekly 30-minute programme combines talk show discussions with documentary-style storytelling to spotlight the policies, projects and people shaping the state’s development. It offers viewers an inside look at the progress being made in critical sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, tourism, business, youth and sports development, women empowerment and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Using documentaries, project inspections, interviews and compelling human-interest stories, ETTW tells the story of Enugu through the experiences of ordinary citizens and key stakeholders. The programme features contributions from government officials, policy experts, development partners, investors, entrepreneurs, traditional rulers, market men and women, students, youths and community leaders, providing different perspectives on the state’s ongoing transformation.
The programme also highlights the reforms and development agenda of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration, offering viewers factual reports, expert analysis and firsthand accounts of projects and initiatives being implemented across the state.
To keep audiences engaged, ETTW features several dedicated segments, including Big Lens, Enugu in the News, Real Talk, Nkowa Enugu, 042 Teasers, Akuko Ndi Be Anyi, Enugu Diary and Vox Pop. These segments explore governance, infrastructure, investment opportunities, innovation, culture, entertainment and the everyday lives of the people of Enugu.
Beyond documenting government projects, the programme is designed to deepen public understanding of Enugu’s rapidly growing economy while positioning the state as an attractive destination for investors, businesses, tourists and development partners within Nigeria and beyond.
ETTW is currently broadcast on several national and regional television stations throughout the week. It airs on ARISE News every Monday at 3:30 p.m., AIT on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m., Channels Television on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m., TVC News on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m., Afia TV on Fridays at 1:30 p.m., Enugu State Television (ETV) on Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., and on the NTA Network every Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The programme is also available on YouTube through @EnuguToTheWorldTV, while highlights and updates are shared on Facebook, Instagram and X.
The initiative is expected to strengthen the connection between Ndi Enugu at home and abroad by providing regular updates on developments across the state. It also gives Nigerians and the international community a closer look at the investment opportunities and transformation taking place in Enugu.
As the programme continues to air weekly, viewers are encouraged to follow the journey and witness the story of a state that proudly declares, “Tomorrow Is Here.”
