DSS Arrests Man Impersonating Personnel, Allegedly Using Fake Gun to Extort Abuja Motorists

The Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested this young man identified as Moferewa Maiye, he’s from Agbajojun Village, Mopamuro LGA of Kogi State. He was arrested for Impersonating a DSS personnel. He was tracked to a hideout around NITEL Junction, along Adetokunbo Ademola Way, Wuse II, Abuja. where he was found in DSS tactical uniform armed with fake pistol.

Sources said secret police acted on credible intelligence that he was using uniform and fake weapon to intimidate commuters, motorists and extort money.

During interrogation, the suspect Moferewa claimed his brother Monday Maiye was DSS personnel who died years ago and kit in his possession belonged to late brother.
