Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party has been declared the winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election, after polling a total of 511,067 votes to secure another mandate from the people of the state.
Adeleke emerged ahead of his closest challengers after the final results from the various local government areas were collated and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The victory marks another major milestone in Adeleke’s political career as he retains control of the Osun State Government following a closely watched election that attracted significant attention across the country.
