Nigeria’s Military Strikes Back: 6,260 Terrorists Neutralized, ₦83bn in Stolen Crude Recovered

In a sweeping two-year campaign across Nigeria’s most volatile regions, the Nigerian Armed Forces have delivered a powerful message: the fight against terrorism and oil theft is far from over—and they’re not backing down.

According to the Defence Headquarters, troops have:

  • ⚔️ Neutralized 6,260 terrorists, bandits, and violent criminals
  • 🚨 Arrested 14,138 suspects
  • 🛡️ Rescued 5,365 civilians
  • 💰 Recovered ₦83 billion worth of stolen crude oil and petroleum products

Niger Delta (Operation Delta Safe):

  • ₦83bn in stolen crude recovered
  • 103 criminals killed, 2,760 arrested
  • 266 civilians rescued

North-East (Operation Hadin Kai):

  • 1,246 Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters neutralized
  • 2,467 arrested, 1,920 civilians rescued

North-West (Operation Fagge Yamma):

  • 1,374 bandits killed, including top commanders
  • 3,288 hostages rescued

North-Central:

  • 730 terrorists killed, 7,153 arrested
  • 1,510 civilians rescued

South-East (Operation UDO KA):

  • 440 terrorists neutralized
  • 1,677 criminals arrested

South-West:

  • 80 criminals killed, 1,763 arrested
  • 89 kidnap victims rescued
