never wanted to be an actress

I never planned to become an actress. My dream was to be a big lawyer in Nigeria — to stand in court, speak with confidence, and fight for justice. I studied law with all my heart, with every intention of building a future in it.

But life had another plan. One random day, a friend dragged me to a movie audition. I didn’t take it seriously. I just thought, “Let me try this for fun.”

They gave me a small script to read. I read it like a lawyer — serious face, straight voice, no emotion. People started laughing. Not because I was funny, but because I was too serious for a movie. But the director said something I’ll never forget: “I like her. She’s real.” That’s how I got my first role in Blind Spot.

That small moment changed my life. Today, people know me more as an actress than a lawyer. Life is strange — one small step can open a big door.
