Zulum Commends Tinubu, Military Over Successful Security Operations in Borno

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Nigerian military for what he described as successful security operations aimed at restoring peace and stability in parts of the state. The governor noted that the efforts of the armed forces have continued to yield positive results in the fight against insurgency and other security threats affecting communities in the North-East region.

Speaking on the recent developments, Zulum acknowledged the commitment of the President and the military leadership toward strengthening security operations and supporting measures designed to protect lives and property. He emphasized that the improved coordination among security agencies has contributed significantly to ongoing gains recorded in the battle against criminal and insurgent groups.

The governor further expressed appreciation for the sacrifices being made by members of the armed forces, many of whom continue to operate under challenging conditions to safeguard communities. He stressed that the progress achieved so far would not have been possible without the dedication, courage, and resilience demonstrated by security personnel on the front lines.

Zulum also called for sustained support for the military and other security agencies to consolidate the successes already recorded. He maintained that continued collaboration between the federal government, security forces, and local communities remains essential to achieving lasting peace, facilitating development, and enabling displaced residents to rebuild their lives and livelihoods across affected areas of Borno State.
